Astrid is a rescue Border Collie who’s love of hiking, climbing and herding has landed her the title of Sporty Adventure Queen. She is from Lakeland, Florida and has been a Mountain Shiba Ambassador since 2021. Astrid, named after a character in the movie Crazy Rich Asians, is the third member of her pack and a sidekick to her brother Wilson. She completed the Mammoth March 20-mile hike challenge alongside Wilson. Her high energy and athleticism make her a natural at sports such a herding, Fast Cat, and flying disc.

Wilson I learned through Youtube and social media on how to be the best dog owner as well as how to train him that I discovered working with dogs is my passion. In 2021 I started my own pet sitting and trick training business called Woofin’ Stars. With patience and consistency, I believe all dogs have the potential to exceed. I’ve exposed my dogs Wilson and Astrid to all types of outdoor adventures, which has opened doors that I never thought were possible. Our followers on Instagram have motivated me to provide training tips and I have helped many dog parents along the way. My dogs are athletes and super smart, which has helped boost my level of confidence in training. Currently, I’m studying to become a professional dog trainer and plan to make it my life’s career.”
